Prior to lst, helping her to straighten out.

We did quite a lst curve and I went to feel the tension earlier and felt I could release the lst and she stayed curved. I felt her stalk at the top and it was tearing at the slightest movement.

I'm asking for input on how to be caring and gentle yet help her to stand up again.
Give her some time and light massaging? A few days without the lst possibly?

Her growth at the top did not entirely stop, it looks like 2 nodes grew while she was lst along with her side which bushed out nicely.

Also, do you lst the other way now? Let her other side bush out as well?

if she is still young just release the lst for a while till she starts straightening out if its been growing and the stalk has been hardening then recovering might be tough

Ok. She is still young, I worked with her and she budged a bit just have to see how she is in a bit.
Her lower stalk is what grew the most, thickened out.
Do you lst her other side now?

you can if your looking to get a uniform bushing from the lower and side shoots but the branches on the bottom side after the lst will naturally try to bend upward to get to the sun so bending it the other way is not really needed but you could if you want to just be careful not to bend the hard old growth only bend the new soft supple growth

Ok. She is in a 4x2x5 tent so yes as much bushing that we can then scrog. I'm not sure about topping. I just want to get her fed and fully healthy now that her stalk has strengthened.

Leave it tied down. Why straighten it after you just "trained" it not to grow straight? If you want all your branches uniform, tie down or super crop the tallest until the others catch up.

just keep lsting the top till the side shoots start to catch up with the main cola then put in your screen at the desired height then let the magic happen

So. She will be ok lst'd? I just wanted to make sure she is healthy. What is super cropping? I did some fimming to see how she would respond and in two days lots of growth on the side where she's lst'd.

super croping is taking a shoot tip and bending it to the point where the tip wont stand up on its own its like lst but a the tip real recover in a few days and u get the lst affect

Ok. That's kind of what I did to her to before fully lst'ing her down.

as she grows the bottem of the stalk will thicken first then as she matures the thickness will progress upward

Ok when I got her and she had been fed only water. Shes been in soil here with me for 8 days and I've realized that I've been underfeeding her still.

are u sure you are under feeding her how old is the plant cause if your not showing signs of under feeding then dont feed yet if the plant is new and has good store bought soil then the plant has enough nutes to get it tru at least two weeks maybe 3 but most definitely after 3 weeks add a light dosage do not go full strength on babies

She was already a foot tall when I got her. I would say she is at least three closer to four week old and I have had her for 9 of those days now. Yes the soil is good but she is showing signs of deficiencies.

you should get a ph tester to get a ph reading on the soil this will tell you if u need to to feed or not but like i said i would feed it a light strength nute that is high in nitrogen you know about NPK?

Do you recommend a ph tester that works? I was going to pick one up and the guy said no we won't sell this to you cause its not a quality meter. I would like to test the ph of the soil. The ph of the runoff was around 6.3 when i checked. Shes being fed bio thrive from general organics it is 4-3-3. I made a light feeding in a gallon of water and fed her half earlier.

yes get one that works testing the run off works well the 6.3 is a bit low so try to shoot for 6.5-7 test the ph of your tap water too if its not distilled

Ok. She is in a 5 gallon g lite pot and I was watering so there was no run off for a few days. Now I am trying to get a half gallon per watering and there is at least a quart+ of runoff each watering. Should I be watering less so there is less run off? it almost looks like a mini flush the water is brown. Also should I not let her soak up the runoff like I have been? She has had both tap and distilled water. distilled for two waterings and tap for the rest. Our tap is well over 8. When I check the ph after adding nutrients I go for around 6.3 Should it be higher?
