Pro Mix help

Pro Mix is a peat based "soiless mix". It has no nutritional value to speak of unless it's one of the fortified blends. You definitely wanna feed it.

So a quick forum search on Promix and see what you get, a lot of ppl using it. Promix HP is what you want (High Porosity)

ProMix makes a lot of different blends. Some peat based, some coco based, some with soil as part and some with nutes. I was wandering around their site one time and they muxt have 30 different ones. Great knowledge base there too for all sorts of grow info.

I've used the HP blend for years and feed with hydro nutes. It has lots of perlite so you can just fill a pot with it and soak it with your nute mix and it's good to go right out of the bale.

If you're going to use that outdoors and have coarse sand/gravel and even soil and compost then you wouldn't need to add extra perlite if it doesn't have much or any.

Good luck and good growing!

I could actually read the ingredients list on the side of the bag and it's the same as HP

It should look like this if it's the same.
