Problem or Not??

Ok..I have 8 plants growing outside...2 are lowryders and 6 are clones from a club I go to...And The Clones are only 20 days old... 1 of the lowryders turned out male and I think It might of dropped some pollen.My question is if the pollen pollenated the clones will they still veg and grow seeds in october?Or should I just wait to see if the other lowryder has seeds in her buds?

well wait to see if the other low rider is hermie, if so, then you will kno wether not the male did in fact pollinate your crop. remember, just because 1 was pollinated, does not meen they all were.

Thanks...I will see if the female lowryder has seeds...I know the clones has 4 months before they start to flower...Only time will tell.

Correct me if I'm wrong but since the clones are not even close to flowering yet i don't think that they could be pollinated anyway.

ya with no buds to pollenate the chancces it will do anything are slim. save some of the pollen annd pollenate a branch yourself.

i agree, the clones could not be pollinated if they dont have pistils. even if they do have preflowers with pistils i doubt that they could be pollinated.

All your replys are good to hear...I didnt think they would get pollenated because they are in their veg cycle and not in the flowering cycle...only time will tell.

Is it an auto-flowering lowryder? If so, then this whole scenario makes sense. If not, then you won't be able to tell if the lowryder is male or female yet either.

Also, I'd make sure the rest of your girls are dusted off thoroughly... it doesn't take much pollen to impregnate a plant, and you don't want any surprises come flowering time.

Yes it is an autoflowering Lowryder 2...I had 2 and 1 turned out male...Ball sacks everywhere...and the bottom ones were open...The other LR2 is a female...it has hairs everywhere...

Once the pollen is out, you'll be lucky if you contain it. Have you destroyed the males yet? I'd definitely keep the potentially seeded plants in a separate room from the younger plants, and air them out really well to blow off any pollen that may have stuck to the leaves. You may also want to be careful between handling... wash your hands to remove any pollen. It doesn't take much pollen to seed an entire crop.

Deesbarrett...... Pollen in an outdoor environment has a short life cycle. Once it gets wet, it is rendered ineffective. If kept dry, out of direct light, and cool, pollen will last for several months no problem.

Chances are your LR girl will make some seeds. The clones that are in veg are at no risk for being impregnated, with so long to grow still.

If it rains, that pollen will be gone. I'd kill the little male LR, and rinse off the clones with a very gentle rinse, if it has not already rained once or twice since the pollen release.

Thank You So Very Much!!!You are always giving me good news...When I get a new camera I will be taking pictures of my babies...It shouldnt be long...My wife just bought one off of ebay...Pictures are coming soon!!
