problems with my plants

i transplanted 19 clones in 1.5" rockwool cubes into 3" cubes and had roots poking out of the bottom of the 3 inch cubes i then transplanted the 3" cubes into 1 gallon of sunshine mix potting soil put under 2-1000 watt hps plenty of space above plants more than 2 feet. all this inside a box 3' deep x 6' tall x 8'' long with 300cfm intake and 600cfm exaust through a charcoal filter. what my problem is my plants wilted and withered into nothing some of the bigger stronger clones from a different strain faired through the night only 6 hours of light i fed them a 1/2 strength mixture of dutch master A&B grow well watered and then this the stronger ones seemed to have gotton better i watered thoroughly was that my problem ?

what i forgot to mention was my 3" cubes are i want to say on the better side of 3/4 the way burried but still sticking up through the dirt. do rockwool cubes have to be completely burried in the soil or not?

The rockwool doesn't have to be completely covered. Dude I'ma tell you right now, I think the problem is just WAY to much light intensity for such tiny plants! I know you say it's ventilated well and the lights are far enough away which is all good, but man, you've got 2000w of HID (2000 WATTS OF HID) hitting these little clones. That's some fucking light and I just don't think they can handel it. Get some CFL's for your little clones and I bet your problem is solved.

i also think u have to much light going on them. but hey its a learning experience. how is that power bill goin? little clones only need a little light other wise they get stressed out with bright light

things have cooled down and ive unplugged a light i manage to save 11 outa 19 so thats good they have actually perked right up looking good i dont think i had given enough water after the transplant thanks hookd. its actually a really sweet setup just been waiting to stock the room full put alot of work into it to make sure odour isnt a problem might need to put a bigger or auxilary intake fan in but so far so good maybe the little guys should spend some more time under the 4oo mh first
