Problems with my super soil run? Lack of mutes or lockout?

Guys, I'm having a lot of trouble with my super soil run here lately. The plants were crushing it in veg, and now that I've gotten to flower, it seems I have a bad magnesium lockout or something, as the leaves have started yellowing from the bottom up, canoeing in, looking like a severe magnesium deficency.

i don't know what to do, the only difference between this run and my last run wad I changed to a different base soil (from roots to a local mix that was crushing it for me in veg) and I'm using r/o water instead of we'll water.

My jellybean is in about 40-50 percent SS, where the Chernobyl is the lightest feeder I have, so it is in 100 percent base.

im adding cal mag from botanicare at 5-7 ml per gallon, bringing my ppm up from 000 to 250-300, ph'd to 6.5 and the problem hasn't gone away. I've gone all the way up to 12 ml/gallon and not seen an improvement.

A couple members suggested feeding, and all that has done is burn the leaves to a crisp on some of the lower fans (fed with 1/2 strength botanicare pbp)

Im almost ready to flush with 7.0 000 ppm water and check the runoff, but I need some suggestions.

On a side note, flower development doesn't appear to be TOO stunted, but I know it has to be to some degree.

the first pics are of the plants in week 1 of flower

heres a pic of the base soil I'm using, I used the same soil for my super soil

i followed the recipe, but left out the humic acid and azomite as the base already had those products in it (where as roots didn't).

any help is GREaTLY appreciated.

are those 5 or 7 gals by chance? I have seen my plants do the same thing and Ive started using bigger 10 gal pots instead. In my case my plants just ran out of juice early but who can blame them when they grow that fast! super soil is awesome, no doubt

* i should add i noticed the issue after switching from grow tents to an actual sealed room with co2 at 1200 ppm. I never had this issue with plants that were smaller and in tents last year. when I notice plants looking light in color I use botanicare lightly also, you wont see improvements immediately but after a week they start looking better. make sure not to overdo it though, adding too much botanicare will take away from the character of the final medicine

Thanks for the reply intensive, they are in 10 gallon smart pots filled with about 7 gallons of soil. And you made a great point for me that I didn't make. I am using co2 this run at 1200 ppm, where I didn't run it previously in my grow tents. Do you think this could be the issue?

If they were my plants, I would top dress with super soil and a little extra castings and give them a tea made with more castings and some kelp meal. those yellow leaves are not coming back but you should be able to stop the progression. I'm also struggling with getting my shit dialed back in after sealing the room and adding co2. I'm on my second co2 enriched cycle and I don't think I'll be satisfied till I'm on my 3rd or 4th cycle to be honest.

How far in are they? I see it says around day 21, is that where they are presently?

Get rid of the botanicare cal/mag, that shit is no good... Get the general organics stuff because on top of it being organic it has no other NPK rating, I'm thinking the bot. cal/mag is partly the cause... or at the very least its not gonna help... its not an organic product so its not going to help as far as anything besides cal and mag... Off that shit and do as kane said.... I wouldnt get too crazy with the top dress though, as far as you are in I wouldnt put too much of the SS top dressing on, after the halfway point you really wanna cool it with the N or else its gonna get funky on you.... load it up with EWC and a little SS along with a tea or just bubble a tea and top dress with castings to try and bring back what you have in the soil already but its gonna be dice roll top dressing beyond week 4, as you arent gonna see it kick in for atleast a few days putting you right smack at week 4...

I think its pretty safe to say that the bot. cal/mag is pissing off the food web, that shit has edta or whatever it is in it and its no good for organics... The farther into this post I get the more I think you should just toss some EWC and bubble a N rich tea and forget top dressing at this point... It really could go either way with the top dress... It could make the shit out of it or really break it hard, a decent tea will bring it back and if you still see fading after a watering or 2 you can hit it with another one but you should stop by week 6 or shortly after with anything else...

Thanks for e responses guys, it's really frustrating adding the co2 when my shit was just dialed.

any suggestions on how much ewc and kelp meal to use for the tea? Any molasses?

grown year, I'll pm you now.
