Problems With Seedlings

Hey. My seedlings dont seem to be growing  or growing very poorly. Ive done 2 other grows with the exact same conditions except that I usually have kept my seedlings under cfls for a little longer before putting them under my 430W HPS. These plants have been under the light for over 3 weeks (except for the last pic) and look how shit they are!! my temps are always under 30 degrees C. One of the first things I noticed is that the cotyledons went yellow super fast. I feel like they've been slowly dying since i planted them

http://imgur.com/a/KWgWA here is the album

1. the cotyledons yellow, leaves slightly yellow, barely any growth so far. This is a fem kaya gold from Nirvana

2. Cotyledon yellow, bottom 2 leaves are yellow and pointed upwards, but the top seems to be doing alright on this one. This one looks like one of the healthiest. Its a regular NL from nirvana

3. Another NL. This ones beyond retarded. All the leaves are "wavy" and distorted looking. The top still has a bit of green. Anyone know what could explain the wavy texture to the leafs? Ive had this happen to me before on a previous grow, but I transplanted the plant and afterwards it started growing normally

4. This tiny master kush is like an inch out of the soil and nearly a month old.......Its yellowish/green. Theres a tiny brown spot (nute burn?) possibly because It wasnt growing and turning yellow so I tried giving it some light nutes.. this burned it so it got me thinking nutes werent the problem

5. This tiny one is another kaya gold thats been in that pot for like 2 weeks, hasnt really grown much. The leaves look like they might get wavy on this one too.

SO pretty much these plants are old but havent grown much at all, and look quite unhealthy.
What are my options here? How far should i put the light form these? Ive moved it pretty far now because I think the small plants cant quite handle the heat (even though its not that bad). I have a fan blowing them and the light. I checked the ph in one bucket with a soil test kit and it was right around 6-7

Any advice? am I looking over something obvious? Should I put them under some cfls till they beef up a bit and are strong enough to go under there? I think the problem is that I put them under the 430W too early. My grow space is not ideal, its pretty small but ive made it work before

you didn't say anything about the medium and/or food. they seem to be very hungry, more than hungry, they seem like the medium is sucking the food out of them. if you are using coco, give them food right now.

My leaves are turning yellow with some dry brown spots that flake off. I just transplanted them fearing they were root bound but they showed no signs of that. The light is an hps 600 watt thats never been closer then 9 inches from the tallest plant ,and i always leave the fan on them and the light as well. They are about 3 weeks old. What should i do

the soil might be too rich in n utes for them, ive had plants go all crinkly and stunted in certain soils like westlands mp with john innes it even is too strong for 6 week old mature clones. also they might be too close to the lamp at 9 inches.

I Have this exact same problem, and looks like he is using the same mediums as me, I have mine in FFOF and some (the really bad ones just like his) in miracle grow organic choice potting mix. I need a solution FAST, they are three weeks old and look just like those in the picture, The ones in FFOF arent so bad but are still majorly stunted for being the 3rd week. I also have some in FF Light Warrior that are also just like the ones in his pictures. I need a solution fast. All I have fed them is ph'd tap water every few days, no nutrients or Ferts. Please someone get us a solution.

Water is important to plants. Medium should be moist at all times; don't wait until completely dried out in order to water. A soil-less medium could stand a light feeding, otherwise a healthy seedling should fare well on its own for a couple weeks.

I'll take a stab at it.....it possibly is overwatering which in turn overnutes....I cured my prob with that by going with a nuteless soil and TRAINED myself to water properly. There may be nothing you can do to save these seedlings...they're already stunted....good luck with your next grow.....

Overwatering...? Did you see the photos; unless I am higher than I suspect I am it looks mostly dry as hell. Really looks as if the OP just kind of drizzles some water on a section of the soil... how much we can only imagine but it's improper watering nonetheless. Even if you grow in a container that is probably too big for a seedling, the entire rhizosphere should be soaked with water (and the excess drains away). It just shouldn't be saturated constantly.

Thay soil looks rubbish to me, like wood chips?? Maybe its got no nutes or not holding the roots or maybe thats just a covering on the soil??
