Project : Unknown Strain, Grow Journal 1 ( CFL )

i recently read where its better to let your veg be a bit on the dry side between waterings, it helps to keep the internodes short i can see in you pic where yours have streched out a bit. and its to let the flower go a bit on the wet side to help with the expansion while budding. so maybe let them get dry before you water again. and then while flower water at closer intervals..

i am doin a grow myself n i only have 3 plants, the others never germinated. are u in UK or US?, i need to no wer to buy cfls from. i have just been using a fish tank light, which isnt enuf but im workin with wot ive got. I had a grow-lux flurecsecent tube but i smashed it . Pics are below and are normal energy saving bulbs cfl (its in the pics). My babies are skunk number 1 ino they are stretched like mad but im not realy bothereed.

cool white cfls from wal mart or any hardware store......you can get 65 watters which are equivelant to 200 incandescent watts at wal mart for 19 bucks......by a few of those and youll be good to go.....

Looking good JX.....their moving right along...make sure to add mollasses at every water when you put em into flower.....1 tlbs to every gallon....it will give you some fat buds.....

Okay they are almost 6 weeks, 1 into flowering with the 2700's the 2 big ones have shown sex..1 is male and 1 is FEMALE BABY! Yes, it's true, im fucking ready now. I havent't added pics but will once they actually started budding good, right now they just have 1 hair coming out, and the male has all kind of nuts scattered, that assflake! Ne how I had to move them cause they got too big for my cab I had to make a quick setup, so its all good now!

Turn the light on now, just not too close. If it were hid you could put it out of direct light but you are fine. You will never get a hps of any size under that tank. They get crazy hot and i heavily vented it. Use t5hos. I'm doing a grow with 10 t5ho 54 watt bulbs. Next to no heat.

That what I was sayin. They are too big now, I had to remove them weeks ago and construct a taller cab. The female is approx. 19 1/3 inches high, and the male is around 21... I got 2 42 watters 2700s so light will not be an issue, I may have to stake it later on, but thus far it hasnt drooped or nething, It's actually gone pretty smooth.
