Promix or foxfarms ocean forest??

I really like the foxfarm ocean mix, and plan on picking up some more today. Haven't used promix yet though.

Thanx smoker I used foxfarms original potting soil which was pretty good but have also heard that promix is one of the best.......

I also seen some "black gold" there at the shop, but haven't tried it yet. I'm really interested in hearing some feedback on these higher end soils.

Promix and Foxfarms ocean forest are both superior mediums.
They are quite different, in that( I think) Foxfarm is loaded with organic nutes whereas Promix does not contain much at all.
With Promix you will need to use ferts after about only a week or two.

My preference is the PromixBX, as it fits my growing style better than Foxfarm, and is apx 50% less expensive....I buy the 3.8 cubic ft bales of Promix.

i have had many problems with promix cause the ph drifts so fast i think i am going to try the foxfarm nutrients and soil.

i mix ff ocean forest, ff planting mix and ff light warrior, then add about a 5 gallon bucket of ff chunky perlite. top dress the soil after a few weeks with peace of mind fruit and flower. YEE-HAA!! nothing but pHd water. NOOCH!

Mr I Can Do That For Half
lol I have used both and like both but have no stuck to miracle grow moisture control when doing soil.It works real well saves on nutes and is cheap as can be 64 qt bag is like $9 here so I usually grab 4-5 bags and that does me pretty good.

Light warrior for seedlings. O.F. and light warrior ( Mixed 3 to 1 )at first transplant has been giving me great results.
