I was just thinking about it..... Maybe instead of $30 an oz maybe they should just give it away for free! I mean all those old rich white guys have all that money they should just give you free stuff because you don't want to pay for shit! I mean they didn't do anything to earn that money, they didn't make any sacrafices in life to get where they are now. Why do they deserve to be rich and we aren't?????? They owe us! I want my weed for free and I also want them to pay for my house because they are rich white people! And I would also like a nice car! I don't want to work for it I just want someone or the government to give it to me!

If by bringing more jobs in you mean someone will be taking your job, you're right someone could be growing in a warehouse somewhere taking income from you or any other grower that do not meet the criteria to run warehouse. But unless your in the oaksterdam business i dont see how this would benefit any of us.

I get 1lb every month and that costs me about a hundred(canadian dollars) to do it. I sell a quarter of my hash for a hundred every month. You're still not going to get anything from me for thirty bucks an oz. I'll give you the shake for twenty an oz if you wanted to buy it.

but the extra 25 square ft to grow would
have been nice. but its not over.
there are RUMORS, and rumors only, is that there full blown attacking
medical mariijuana next. all because this failed.

everybody should have the right to grow it and smoke it regardless of whether you have a MMJ card.. because let's be honest, maybe 1% of people with a card actually have a decent reason, the rest just want to smoke..
I'm not even from california, or the usa for that matter, but I'm really gutted this didn't pass. it was a BIG step in the right direction. fucking shame I say.

Anyone who thinks the current setup in Cali is going to be allowed to continue is abseloutly crazy. It is the Wild West and they will be reigning it in very soon.

The DEA and Big Pharma are the real winners with prop 19 failing. They are happier than pigs in shit.

There is a ton of ignorance in this thread. You all will look back at this as an opportunity lost. Your greed will cost you. At the end of the day weed will still be illegal and Medical MJ will be less legit than ever. If you think the government is just going to be "cool" about your 200k a year, tax free "medical" garage grow forever well...maybe ignorance really is bliss.

i wonder what california will do now about the budget problems? get ready in january for massive cuts in the public sector. There are gonna be a lot of laid off teachers, fireman, policemen, anyone that works in public service get ready for massive cutbacks. but maybe you think this is long overdue, and you may be partly right. well lets look at the other side. now that the governor is a dem and the legislature aswell, if you live in california get ready for new taxes. these are two more things that you win, higher taxes more job losses and less education and public service. good job :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Quit smoking rocks. Are you that desperate for MJ to be legalized? Where you'll agree to anything and not read between the lines nowhere in that prop 19 bill mentioned anything about Legalization and it would still be a schedule 1 drug.

And as for prop 19 not passing to all you yes prop 19 people

If prop 19 was to pass there would be no more local circulation of $$ as muich as ppl would love it to be legal it will only do worse...think about all the ppl that sell erb to make money legal or illegal...that money they spend on jewllery, clothes, shoes, cars, food, houses etc. this underground trade that is the #1 cash crop right now is keepin our communities running smoothely...imagin all the legal growers who grow the finest erb and make a living off of it, those ppl who create strains that are just killer...they do it for money or to supply patients...they all will be forced to apply for a right to make money off there crop, and thats if the government is willing to allow them, they will be taxed! and what they grow will be limited to a 25square ft area, and every bit of erb the government will dip into and get paid, then wen the dispensaries get it they will be taxed and then by time it gets to the buyers its so expensive...right now mmj is above the government! it is a medicine that they have no say over pretty much, y vote for them to have full control over every aspect of the erb? that bill wont help us it will help the gov. the same group of ppl that declared it illegal to supply society with there man made drugs and materials...
basically makin it legal and taxing the suppliers the circulation of $ would fail and just be givin to the gov. all the local businesses would be forced to raise there prices as the economy struggles, there would be a raise in the prices of housing making it even harder to live! while the gov. sits bac wit fat wallets...the only reason as to y they considered it is becuase they can make $$$

imagine if they passed a law that every farmer had to apply for a cultivating lisence and there farms wur cut down to 25 square feet and they could only sell to limited businesses wealthy enough to pay for there lisences and taxes...the world would be in alot of trouble! even if they passed that law for wheat farmers the economy would fail! so y do it to the #1 cash crop in the US? those small towns in cali that wur off the map that are now striving due to headshops and dispensaries would never happen!

ppl need to look at the bigger picture and stop being greedy and trying to call the ppl of cali stupid for making a great desicion that will keep mmj above the government and all the money made illegally and legally in the hands of the locals!

im sorry but id rather have that illegal money circulate locally than have the government take millions of dollers to fix roads and shit that wont help me be medicated or live!

lol yea i kno i dont understand how they cant see there is a reason y they wur in debt in the first place! i just dont get y ppl would want government to have control over something natural! we want to fight for freedom of the erb not some what free and government dipping into our pockets even more...right now there are alot more jobs available because of dispensaries! y take those jobs away? eventually the gov. goin see how they arent makin all the $ they can and there is goin to be few huge businesses available to sell it..eventually we will be buyin a pack of spliffs! fuck that! i asked a friend y he wanted it to pass he sayed cuz it create a wave effect and the rest will follow...i said well what about those ppl who get paid to come up with the best really potent strains and sell them? they wont have those jobs anymore and that really good grade will not be sold...he said so id be able to grow it..i asked him if he could grow high grade erb with 25-30%thc one hitter quiters..he said no...my point is that shit is a greedy slefish mentality that will cause not only the econemy to fall but the grade of erb will to!
