Since 1996, when 215 passed. I believe it was 215 that doomed 19....
Unfortunately I was not of voting age yet, and am now stuck to deal with what I was brought up with. Aka Medicinal System.

To disband the medicinal system would say that Marijuana doesn't have health benefits right? Try getting anything legalized if ya do that :/

I don't want MMJ disbanded..... I would like to see compassionate use laws be just that, compassionate care, not the stress and allergy medicine it has become. I agree with cooley, I think 215 is ripe for abuse and fraud. I think there is plenty of it ongoing. He should shut down pain clinic 215 mills, and allergy gardens with 99 plants.

The reason the rest of us can't enjoy MJ recreationally is because of the ones with no medical problems carrying a card and calling their high "meds" As long as compassionate use laws are abused, we won't get anything legalized either.

Well I guess we'll never know for sure how prop 19 would have effected us. It's over. There is always 2012! That's what we should be worried about. Regardless of if we did or didn't support prop 19, there are ballot initiatives written for 2012. We need to get one on the ballot.
Come on guys, he's right. We may not have won the battle but we tasted victory. That counts for something. The government thinks that they can "protect" us forever, but they're wrong. We'll keep fighting and keep blazing until we get what rightfully belongs to us. No more of this fake bullshit about taxing my garden. If they come in my house and tell me I owe them to grow I'll say "fuck you" and just stealth grow. Us growers and smokers are a large structure that rules over the land. Try as they might the goverent CAN'T KNOCK US DOWN. Dont give up hope. We'll have our day soon. Peace friends.

Exactly, I don't imagine marijuana just becoming a not talked about issue after this year. Its why I have confidence in a stronger bill and voted no.

You obviously didn't read the initiative, by your own statements. It allowed for 5' x 5' square gardens, that isn't decriminilization? It allowed you to smoke marijuana recreationally, that isn't decriminilization? How were they going to tax your personal garden? Do you think it is fair that co-op growers/dealers can sell "surplus" tax free?

19 would have made growing and smoking LEGAL for recreational users. That was the point of the initiative.
How old are you? Better yet have you ever gone up against the system over MJ? I've paid my dues and for a prop that's no good for every one it's so sad to see how easy the government can fool a lot of people thet are young and think they know everything. Why 19 failed is because they didn't tell people the true agenda that is involved with it.

Why not? I think they should hand out doctors recs for a paper cut or hang nail. The more bud being put out there and smoked legally under state law, the harder this becomes to stop.

Those people who get doctors recs for insomnia, occasional back pain, etc are doing those with serious illnesses a favor. They are creating more consumers for medical cannabis. More consumers = more collectives. More collectives = more access for those who are seriously ill.

Everyone who just got a headache from reading this should go out and get a doctors rec.

I agree with cooley
And the police against the cannabis community.

I think 215 is ripe for abuse and fraud.
Cannabis prohibition is the real abuse and fraud.

The reason the rest of us can't enjoy MJ recreationally is because of the ones with no medical problems carrying a card and calling their high "meds" As long as compassionate use laws are abused, we won't get anything legalized either.
False. Medical law introduces the common accepted use of cannabis into communities which dispels some of the misinformation about cannabis. This is proven by legalization polling from before and after medical laws have come into effect.

If we can not stand up to our own FED's when they say BO I'll get you, how are we going to stand up to Drug lords who want their land back. Be real! What do they have to lose? 30,000 dead to them is their job and it can start here!:!::fire:
