Last time I tried using my propagator I left it in the sun for a week and didnt take the lid off, its has an autowatering system which is a mat underneath the soil that keeps it moist so I thought it would be okay. All seeds in it died and the ones that did sprout died straight after, as said by other members of rollitup it was because I didnt take the lid off it and left it in the sun all day which turned it into a sauna.
My question is how can I use this propagator without killing my seeds? Keep it in the shade? I thought they needed sun?
I was hoping I could germinate the seeds using the paper towel method and put the germinated seed in the propagator
