Too many factors for anybody to tell you what PPM/EC to run. When I first started growing hydro I had the same questions. Bottom line is that some systems are more efficient than others and everybody's set up is different. My drip systems run at 900PPM and work fine but if I were to go over 650ppm in my aero systems I'd kill everything.
Use your new Truncheon and let your plants tell you. If you measure PPM today and it's 600, then you measure it tomorrow and it's 700, the plants are using more water than nutes and you should back off on the nutes. Conversely, if you PPM is lower today than it was yesterday then the plants are using more nutes than water and you can go stronger on the next mix.
Start low and build up. 1 overnute can ruin everything.
