PROS MUST READ. 12/12 light cycle..but!!!

ok so i know that for flowering you have to set the lights for 12 hours of on time and 12 hours off. not that i want to do it or i am doing it im just wondering what if i had the lights on for 1 hour than off the next than on the next hour than the next hour its back off. at the end of the day my plants would still have 12 hours of day time and 12 hours of night time. what would happen if i were to do that?

no no no dont do that. they need time to photosynthesize (lights on) and they need their rest when they are doing other important things. doing that will most likely turn them hermie or something else not good.

u will get a mutant plant that doesnt cooperate with ure wants for u did the same....i wouldnt even do that with an autoflowering strain but?whatever floats ure boat

Mr I Can Do That For Half
You ll stress the plants and confuse them you ll increase hermie chances drop yields if you did get any flowers and the potency would be crap all and all it would destroy a flower grow

I think comparing it to forcing a human being to be awake every other hour for 60+ days.... you would go batshit.

Hey Boss at CNN,
Everyone is correct.....It's just really not a good idea. I have tried something similar (I do not want to be accused of being a hypocrate). It does not give great results and it is a lot of work, for less yield.

yup thats what i thought i was not doing it nor was thinking of doing it. i just wanted to see if anyone else had done it and what came of it..but thanks guys
