ok so the 2 new seeds haven popped, dug them up and they were squishy...damn..Oh well, its into 12/12 light for my plant now, as i need the cabinet empty in 8 weeks. Hopefully thats long enough...:(

Anyways, the poor thing had a brown spot on it, I had to re pot it as the roots were pushing it out of the ground!!!!

So i mixed 50% perlite with 50% potting soil, washed it till the water ran clear and allowed it to drain.

I then very carefully tipped the plant into my hand, and slowly broke off the soil around the edges until i saw roots. This block of soil was pretty small by now so it easily fit in the pot with the mix. I did not water, as the soil was moist from the rinse.

picture update when theres significant growth, or someone asks.

I know now i should have probably just flushed the original pot it was in, and not transplanted to perlite and soil mix...hopefully i didnt mess up too bad.

Thanks TC,
you are right...I woke up this morning to growth...I'm so surprised the plant didn't go into shock....but then I was very careful, and even though I switched out most of the soil its planted in, the roots didn't get messed about too much.

So my plant sprouted with 2 milk leaves like normal...then the first set of serrated leaves there was 2....but coming out of the center of the plant, for the next set there's only one leaf...

Check out the pic to see what I mean...maybe its normal..

There's also a very small brown spot on one of the leaves...no browning around the edges...this is probably still nute burn though, just mild right?

Getting ph meter, a better intake fan and perhaps ppm meter today. Had a look on ebay..no hanna ones for decent savings near me..(if I'm only saving $5 id rather spend the $5 and get it now than wait for post.)

I might get budding nutes today also, but we will see...even tho I'm 12/12 now, there's still some vegging to do lol.

My genetics have been posted, yesterday..So I'm 12/12-ing these...Will be planting 2 of each seed and the free ones I think, then keeping the best for mums (yes, I'm aussie..we spell it mum lol..). And then flowering all the underachievers for bud along with some clones of the good ones.
