its used in fresh and salt aquariums. it adds mad oxygen to water. Could it have any practical usage in hydro grow systems?

ive seen them for fish tanks but never knew what they were for. But if it adds oxygen to the water then it will definitely be beneficial.
BUT.... how does it add oxygen to the water im not sure how it works.
Also depending on what nutes you are using you dont want to be pumping large amounts of oxygen into your reservoir it causes slime and bacteria. You may be better off using h202 (hydrogen peroxide)

Protein skimmers for salt tanks, mimic the sea shore. Have you ever been to the beach and seen the foam near the shore? Protein Skimmers mimic this action by bubbling into a column and allowing the foam to be captured. I foam is broken down protein from the fish and their shit being reused in the natural salt environment.

Could you use one in your Hydro? Would probably be not more effective than an air bubbler.
