Pruning/FIM quick question

My plant is in between its 3rd and 4th week of veg. stage. I attempted to FIM my plant and prune 2 sets of leaves. Where I made the cuts (using sterilized fingernail clipper) has turned slightly brown. It has only been ~14 hours since I've done this. Is it normal for these areas to turn slightly brown after being snipped? Thanks in advance.

yes and it takes a while for all the new shoots to form . and one of my moms it still has new shoots coming out and i fim her over 2 months ago . Peace

dude you just cut it..of course. then it'll start to close up and turn black, then the dead part will fall off.
