Pruning mothers

Ok so I have been keeping a few mothers for cloning for about 9 months now and I love them dearly. They have grown and are very healthy but they are now reaching my height limit. My question now can I cut them down to make shorter. I never topped them so its all 1 stem on all of them. Pic ncluded. Can I just find a sopt and just cut of the top?


BTW thats DNA Kishberry, Royal Special Kush and Royal Special Queen. Im at 6 weks flower at the moment.

you can top it now they will grow branches all sides but if i were you i would also cut new clones to replace them as new moms, the stems are way too long, better to top the mother let it grow branches to cut from and keep it short. i did a lot of pruning on mine, only keep the branches i intended to clone an the growth below, removed all unnecessary growth.

I really did not intend for them to get that long but not paying attention and with days turning into weeks...

I am gonna take an ass load of cuttings and just start me a new set of mothers. This time I will bonsai them. My 3x5 look like a forest in there.
