pump timer souce or brand name?

I keep reading about people having timers on their aeroflow nutrient solution pumps.

I also read that the timers are set to various settings. Such as on 1 minute/ off 5 minutes. And on 5 minutes off 20 minutes.

What timers are you all using? I'm building my system so I need to find a proper pump timer and I need to learn the proper settings.

Only timers I am familiar with are the kind you get at home depot or target or such where you can flip little levers on the 24 hour dial. I did buy an electronic timer that can have 20 on/off cycles programmed for each day for a week. But these won't allow 1 minute on and 5 minutes off.

Please help a noob!
Thanks to you experienced growers I am learning LOADS!

I am trying to put together a TruAeroponic unit but i am LOST in regards to the manifold set up. I have purchased a IWAKI 70 rzt pump, well 2 of them but locating some step by step instructions is becoming a task. There was a post on here that kind of started to give a good how to, the guy posted links to parts and all, he even drew out a little diagram but he has since been banned and I have been on a mission to bild this thing. Well I should clairify, I need help with the pump set up to the mister, which is what i guess is the manifold! Any suggestions for me?

I learned from reading this book FREE ... How to hydroponics
http://books.google.com/books?id=e5xLkJLTMygC&printsec=frontcover&dq=hydroponics&hl=en&ei=lEp3TN34JY6UnQfgj6idCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CDQQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false
I modified the design so that I now have an 18 inch long unit on a 5 gallon bucket (only 3 gallon actual res) using a cheap small 4 foot lift fountain pump from Home Depot.

I'm still a newb so I gotta figure out how to upload a photo of my system.
be back in a bit with a photo, (I hope)ready to grow 1.jpg TADAAAA!
