Pure sativa growing wild!

i went for a walk to day and noticed a wiled sativa marijuana plant possibly hemp growing on its own in the wild. i was wondering if its possible to take a sativa clone and let it grow on its own? would it last like this one did? i didnt cut it down and take it home just in case it was some ones plant and i dont belive in taking what i didnt grow my self. it was by the creek and looks like no one has been around there befor

naw homie im in northern california. i just dont wanna rip no one off. but i know it will die soon from frost so if its there in a week it mine. its about 8 feet tall looks realy od but looks like schwag or hemp

Side of river,no fence, not backyard, no hole dug. Its got your name on it . Maybe a bit far into flowering for a clone but you could try.

isnt it a little late for cloning? and i would just take one branch just incase it was someones plant. but post pics and maybe take it if it starts dying....just my thoughts

If you root it indoors, reveg it, and then place it outside next year near a stream, then yes, it could grow like it's mother.

Would a clone just grow wild like that if you planted it outside? I doubt it.
