nice pics but why did you put theem in the same giant hole usin same soil? LOl
Dude, I don't get your problem with putting more than one plant in an outdoor hole. As you say, nice pics.If they didn't like their home it would show.

Do you propose I dig a hole for every plant? ...........

All 14 plants were harvested. In total, I ended up with a 1/4 pound of bud after completely drying. It is curing now.It will continue to get better with each day of curing but it is ok to smoke now.

So with a little planning my 1st real crop of the summer came in.I was smoking the Purple Jem as I watched the 4th of July fireworks last night.

Plants were harvest at 9 weeks old. They could of went another week if not for the Midwest heat wave. With the heat I decided to take them early.Average weight per plant was 8 grams.

8 were grown in the ground and the other 6 were in 4 gal. thin, black, plastic nursery buckets. The buckets had Promix Bx in them, which has the water absorbing gel in it.I used simple Water soluble nutrients 10-15-10.

As long as they get rain every 5-10 days they will grow. And in June it usually rains here 2 times a week.I just set them 20ft. off the side of a dirt road in some fresh clear cut.

I have twenty 10 day old seedlings thay will go outside around the 1st week of August and there are 4 P. Jem plants in the field right now that are 5-6 weeks old and will be harvested the end of this month. So I should be able to pull 3-4 more grows with this cycle before Holloween.

A pic or two of some of the top buds is below, enjoy.

Seven STP males were eliminated out of the 15 containers with 2 week old seedlings.I also lost 6 containers due to them containing only males.

There are 9 containers left of the original 15 with 11 plants total in them. Two are confirmed to be female so far.My guess is there may be 2-3 males left to show.

The next cycle we are going to start with 30 containers.I want to have them ready for outdoors in mid August.

One 2 week old Purple Jem female was selected for colloidal silver application. This will turn this girl into a guy! The seeds produced by the pollen will be feminized. All female seeds no males to tend.

I will cover the process with pics. I will not cover colloidal silver production.I already have a jar from my last batch.I will cover production of C.S. when I need a batch again. Most likely in a few weeks to 2 months.

Five days have passed since I selected the Female P. Jem for sex reversal.I spray the plant to saturation one time per day during the dark cycle. If you have a 24/0 cycle just sit it out of direct strong light until it dries.Be sure to get all bud sites wet each application.

If this thread can help teach people like myself how to produce auto seeds, then your work is a worthy cause. Most people on this section, and this site in general, are eager to learn and teach. The knowledge we all are gifted, retain and then pass on is the most important tool in any growers arsenal. No matter what happens along the way, a grower can always hold on to that corner of our minds reserved for growing. No law enforcement or government can take that away. One love. Stay Crunchy broseph! Crunch* Crunch* Crunch*

I had to chalk this one, no sign of male flowers after nearly 3 weeks. No biggie we will get some fresh C.S. for the next try, this was an old batch.

One dozen assorted females that germinated on the 1st of Aug. were transplanted from their 2lt. bottle starters to 5 gal plastic nursery pots.Six went outside on the 20th & six more are going out in the morning.I have two more cycles ten days apart at 15 days old and 5 days old.The 5 day olds will be my last cycle for outdoors this fall. They should finish just before Halloween.
