purple leaves

umm my lower leaves are turning purple and its still a seedling

leaves turning purple can mean a few things. One it could be a purple variety and this is natural. Or, it could be an indication of a problem, for example plants that are in too cold of an environment can often have this happen. If you want a good diagnosis, post a pic, otherwise people will just be guessing.

well its deff. not too cold and its not a purple kind of bud, could it be nitrogen? thats what im thinking

It is most likely a strain trait. All of my seedlings stems are purp, and the leaves change color slightly often between deep green and light dark purple
