If it wasnt for some awesome info by reputable people in this thread, i wouldnt be so stumped as to why i read this whole thread. i recently started a great white shark x mazar seedling a few weeks ago. the sprout was way over watered and did not have proper drainage. the stem and underside of the first set of leaves (true leaves) also the middle newest leaves were all deep purple like your pics below. After correcting the over watering and repotting when it was older. it is now healthy green.

a wise man once told me "you can only learn and progress, when you take the cotton balls out of your ears and put them in your mouth"

Im not trying to rain on your parade like you think everyone else is, but if your plant truely is suffering from a deficiency/abundance/problem, as an aspiring skilled grower it would be smart of you to look into the idea. in my opinion, a skilled grower can understand and communicate with their plants, when then plant is telling us something, we listen and care for it. Rather than skimming by with the bare minimum, try and learn something and appreciate the knowledge of otheres, instead of shutting everyone out.

hope everything works out for ya!:leaf:

Well bro I don't want to take anyone's side here and your plants are looking great. How old are they now? I've seen some interesting genetics out of bagseed. Some of the best crops I've ever seen have been from bagseed. I've learned that it's not what you get in the end it's the learning experience you get with it. Live and learn.

If your plant turns out dank like a purple strain then great if not then hey it was a learning experience right? We all have to start somewhere. Everyone started off where we all are. Just some of us have the natural knack for it and some well just probably should just stick to smoking.

I've been growing for over 7 years now and have done gardening and farming my whole life. Plant life comes natural to me. I had recently found this page and wish I would of found it sooner. Do I know enough to grow good bud? Sure but I feel that I can't ever learn enough. I want to read more and more. Everyday I learn something new. Lots of helpful and reputable people here.

Well I put my 2 cents in sorry that it was so long but I'm stoned lol. Oh and marc I've seen you around on the threads and you seem to know your shit and nice plants there. I am jealous of those :)

Im not an expert, but the purple on the op's plant doesn't look like deficiency to me...don't know about manganese def, but with P def the stems are red-purple, not blue-purple...also, it seems as though people don't realize that there are two kinds of purple...the kind that results from P lockout late in flowering, and the one where chlorophyll naturally breaks down towards the end of flowering, leaving a lot of anthocyanin in the leaves and buds, giving them a purple color... Just because a plant is purple does not necessarily mean it's a weak smoke...though, having said that, potent purple IS hard to find.
