purple pistils n tricoms

hi everyone ive had 2 plants growing seince the start of winter and now going into spring and i hae noticed on 1 of my plants the pistils and tricoms and tips of the leavs are starting to turn purple i was wondering if anyone knows whats going on here and if its a good thing.thanks heap p.s im geting my camera out of cashies next week so ill post pics then even though its pritty hard to se without a magnafing glass

my plant has purple pistils since we had a cold snap a few weeks ago. the purple trics havent seen that b4 would like to the pics.

this is the second time I've heard of this now . . . I'd be very interested to establish the strain causing this.
