Congratulations! You may have a purple strain. GDP, Purple Erkle, Purple Kush.
Just because the bud it came from wasn't purple, doesn't mean it wasn't a purple strain.

purple on a plant is 90% of the time 1 form of stress or another, Sometimes it's genetics, but purple stems and leaves doesn't mean anything as far as strain, potency, taste or anything else for that matter. Alot of mexican bagseed genetics have purple stems like that. Are you in a place where it gets cool at night? That actually looks like cold stress to me. If it's mexican genetics and they even get below 65 at all they'll do that in most cases cause those genetics are not used to cooler temps.

fuck yea!
the seed either came from strawberry kush or most likely a northern lights cross ( in eastern KY, not shag pressed shizz ) most people around here have northern lights so, that much is just a guess, the kush i know i got a few oz's of, but cant remember if i got any seeds... damn..

no to the cool temps question., when i germinated it turned from white to purple from day one, i was intrigued since then, and it never went away.

The tips of my Kush plant shoots have a little purple coming in on the stems I think from stress because they have been a nice green the whole way out. I'm convinced it's from the shitty weather we've been having in the Bay Area. I'm thinking it'll go green again when the sun comes out.

the plant in the last two pics looks like genetics but the one in the first two pics looks like potassium deficiency to me but i could be wrong.
