This review is for Purps.
It's a dispensary clone. I got mine from SBHC in California. They usually have a decent selection of teens and clones.
Cloning:
This strain is a little more difficult to propagate. It has a propensity to mold when rooting cuttings in rockwool under a dome. With multiple strains under the same dome, this is the only one that would get mold. It sucks, especially when you buy teens to rip clones off of and half of them don't make it.
These didn't perform too well in the aerocloner, either.
Veg:
Once you get past the barrier of cloning, these plants are fuckin bomb.
They grow out nice and bushy, and LOVE nutes. I've yet to grow a strain that wanted as high an EC as Purps. Can feed the shit out of these. They grow short and branchy.
Flower:
These plants bloom pretty fast once you hit em with 12/12. I usually feed em a bit of nitrogen (veg nutes) along with flower nutes for the first 2 weeks of flower. They finish pretty quick, and if you give them a good flush towards the end the color really comes out.
These look nice and frosty and have a good smoke. Nice indica high. good sleep aid.
All in all, I'd say this is a good strain to grow once you've got a little experience under your belt. Definitely take more cuttings than you're going to need, because propagation is a pain in the ass. It's some chronic shit, though!
