Putting your plant in the sun for the final few days

I've always grown indoor and the past two grows I've put my plant in the full sun to "finish out and dry out".

I've noticed the smell was a lot stronger and the cure process is cut shorter. Has anyone done this or read about the benefits if any of putting a plant that has been grown indoors out in the blazing sun for the final few days?

nice dobie. my black/rust just turned 3. most awesome dogs in the world.
i would think some of the trichomes might get damaged. blown off or or possible sun might destroy them...with you trying to dry the plant out. not sure how hot it is where your at. . glad you had a successful grow. let us know thanks. sorry hit the wrong reply tab. . btw are those min pins?

I'm in Southern California so I think your right with temps soaring into the 100s during summer it's probably a bad idea.

Actually they a Doberman Pinchers!

Usually I don't recommend moving plants to get light. Always better to move the light, eh? I have never heard another suggestion that finishing outside changes the final product. And moving plants, especially larger top-heavy plants, can be a disaster if you have a fatal fallover. But if you can hang with the risk and actually get better product -- more power to you!

Good luck, BigSteve.

First impressions:
Smell is thru the roof! I think it's similar to humans when we are hot we transpire...so every time I bring her in at night she smells so strong it's incredible!

The plastic pot I grew her in is getting scorching hot (temp is 91 degrees with 10+ UV rating) so I've had to water her with fresh water every afternoon.

Will continue to post updates
