This is my first grow with a LED light, and hopefully with some help from you folks here, it will be a good one. Ordered my beans on the 1st of this month and still waiting for them to get here, I think they should get here by the end of this week or next week at the latest. My goal is to have sprouts in the dirt and under my light by Oct. 1.

I didn't cheap out my grow and bought the best products at the best prices I could find at the time. I have about $1100 total in my tent setup, I can put together a supply list with prices if anyone has interest. I'm growing for my own medicinal use and hopefully helping out a couple other patients. I would really be happy if I can get 100+ grams out of this tent each harvest from 2 plants.

Yeah, ordered from the TUDE and it's at ISC since 9/5. I've been reading a lot of bad posts about ISC in Chicago and I got my fingers crossed and hoping it makes its way through with the candies and stealth option,BTW, i didn't choose the t-shirt or the mug.

I chose the Pyramid seeds because my friend got a freebie of the Auto anesthesia and grew it, he got around 400g from 1 plant and it was super dank bud that had a great high, very heady. My friend only buys Pyramid Seeds now, he says they are the most underrated seed company out there, he won't buy seeds from anyone else. We've had the Anesthesia and the Super Hash from Pyramid and have had great results in both yield and quality, so we'll see how I do with this grow.

I'm glad to hear from another member that my yield goal isn't unreasonable. I planned on the first 3 grows not having the best yields. I agree with you about keeping it simple, and that was what I said when I started planning all of this, that it had to be as simple as possible. With me being disabled, I felt the soil and using autos was the easiest way to go.

I agree, atleast your of to a "easy" start

biggest mistake Ppl. make in soil is to over water, in other words they water to often and that way keep the soil moist all the time, actually the damages they do is keep the roots from fresh oxygen and they end up with root rot, a classic mistake is also to use a too compact soil with out any perlite or coco etc and you end up with the same problem, or if you use a pot with to few/small drain holes in the bottom

when watering give em a good amount so you see run of from the drain holes, so you know all the soil is wet, then give em some day`s maybe even up to a week (depend on size of plant and pot and temperatures and RH) to use up the water and dry out a bit, best way to know when, is to get a feeling on the weight of your pot when dry and just watered, in the end you know when theres a day left and can water upfront wile you still give it time to dry out a bit in between waterings and the roots a chance to spread out and look for water, a healthy root net is a must for a healthy yield/fruit, use logic and common sense make sure the top 5cm soil is bone dry and the pot feel light to lift before watering, if you let it go to fare you will see the bottom leaves begin to hang down, catch that in a day and there is no problem, over water and you might kill your plant, actually a good changes of it, and for sure some problems that can have a impact on your grow, grow time, yield aso and headaches

if your ever unlucky enough to end up in the situation you can use Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as a life savior

but agin, keep it simple, its weed, let it do its stuff its know how, just provide as close to optimal conditions as possible, temperature, humidity, air circulation, light, PH of the water and some food/micros/trace elements at the right time in the right amount (only experience can help you here, therefore, less is more)

^^That's very invaluable info there guys.^^ Always best to take the time to pick a lady up real quick, then just dumping on some more water.

Also, autos prefer not to be Xplanted much, if at all. I would start them in a container of great soil, with stronger soil mixed into the bottom for more mature roots to grow into, and start feeding on for bigger flowers. I've seen some nicer autos lately, and am starting to change my mind about them. I think with a couple of old grower tricks they can be decent meds for folks. I also noticed that autos hate to be topped, and will respond poorly if messed with too much. They are what they are so let them do their thing, and they reward you all the same for it.

well here is a few pictures of the Sweet tooth Auto from Barney`s I have going right now in the middle of my Veg room, under the T5HOs wile it wait for the LEDs to finish under

it just finish week 3 and entering week 4 in a Hempy bucket, had slight tip burns (sign of too strong nutrients mix) so backed off and gave em half dose (GH bloom/micro) and still grow with out a PH pen or Ecc Pen, you know me MyCo so actually happy its so healthy



just notice pree flowers/pistils too day, so it should be right on time for the LEDs in a week`s time when I got space

lol yea, I gues you talk about the last picture, sure I would not give it a over dose of Nitrogen (hence the left over leaves at the bottom that claw a bit) but the size of the main cola don't look too bad

I was thinking about adding 4 2ft T5 lights in the corners of my tent. I could use the extra heat in my tent and I think the extra light wouldn't be a bad thing.I was told that since my light uses 5 watt diodes that because it's a stronger light source than the T5 that the plants basically wouldn't even see the light or utilize it all. Anyone have any thoughts or input about using T5 and LED lights together?

Also, just wanted to add a photo of how I have my fan/filter set up in my tent. I have 4" inline fan 190/cfm max, with carbon filter, I have a fan speed controller hooked up as well. and 1 6" clip for circulation. It's all connected to the bars at the top of the tent. Getting the carbon filter/fan and ducting hooked up was the only difficult part that I ran into as far as getting this assembled and totally set up. I'm disabled and have severe rheumatoid arthritis and I did need the help of another person to get this task accomplished. I'm over 6 foot tall so setting everything else up was really easy.

It comes down to the smallest thing being the most important thing and one of the hardest things to get at this point.....So, I'm still waiting on beans at this point before I can do anything with all this great stuff. Fingers crossed and I'm hoping we can move forward on this journal towards the end of this month.

if the bars of your tent seems to have a hard time with all the weight you could remove the ventilation to out side the tent with a pice of ducting, but seems ok in the pictures, some cheap tents just have crappy poles, seen a few cases of light dropping on plant, not a pretty thing to look at

and a few T5s or CLF`s for side lightning is a good idea, specially since you have a rater small LED panel, I would for sure add some to the corners/side of your tent, some in 2700K would work great for autos once they out grow the LEDs they are in full flowering

what ever works for you and you have money for but yea 4 pieces of T5 in the small 2ft length would work great Im sure, get the HO type tho (HO = high output) and in 2700/3000K (K= Kelvin, color or the light) the lower ranges have more red and less blue so to speak wile the 5000K and 6500K have more blue and less red light

It's a gorilla grow tent and there are 3 bars at the top of the tent and I have personally hung my body weight (170 lbs) from each one of them individually. It's a very well built tent with high quality materials. My filter exits the top instead of the side, otherwise it's setup exactly as that diagram. I used tape and clamps to seal everything where the ducting connected. Still waiting for beans to arrive. Have 3 orders out there, hopefully one of them gets through soon!

I added the 4 2foot HO T5 lights and it seems way brighter inside the tent now, I have 3000k lights in there now, doesn't seem like it added much heat, maybe 1 or 2 degrees.

Seeds arrived and are germinating. Got my pots setup in the tent and ready to go. Should be dropping them in soil within the next 2-3 days.

Had to place numerous orders from different vendors as there was some problems getting them through. The pyramid seeds still haven't shown up and the vendor has sent them twice. So, I'm not waiting for the pyramid seeds auto anesthesia to get here. The first order that came is what is going in the ground now and this grow will be Auto Trans Siberian by Auto Seeds.

Placed the seeds in a 8 oz cup of water with 3 drops of H2O2, both seeds dropped to the bottom within 6 hours. I left them in the water for 48 hours, the seeds split open and had very small tentacle poking out. I have transfered them to wet paper towels and have them covered to retain the moisture and heat, and in a dark area with no light, checking them every 24 hours until ready to be transfered to the soil.

Placed the Fox Farms Ocean Forest potting soil in the 3 gallon SmartPots and watered the center area of pot with 8oz of distilled PH balanced water where the seed will be planted. Watering the soil a few days before planting should allow the active soil microbes to get started. Soil should need some moisture by the time I plant the seeds and will use a small amount being careful not over saturate the soil.

I positioned the light so its 13-14" above the soil and everything is ready to go! Next update in about 2-3 days, and we're on our way with this journal!

****UPDATE****

Germinated Auto Trans Siberian Seeds/Seedlings went into the soil today. Tent temperature is at 79F and 52% humidity. Will post update after they sprout.
