Ok since this is my first go round need a little help here. On Sub's strain guide page it list 2 kinda harvest dates for this plant 45-50 on 1 and 50-60 on another. I know its phenotype dependent and I have 2. The more trainwreck dom isnt even close to being done, but the other has been flowering since about the first week of august. The cloes up of the buds is the more ready plant and a side profile of a cola. Its the middle plant in the first pic. The one on the far right is the train wreck dom they were the same height at start of flower and you can see how much it overgrew the middle plant.

Anyways I have been checking with a pocket scope and what i can determine at 60x is that I'm 95% clear still and maybe 1 or 2 tips milky on a whole leaf. Not sure if i started counting the days at the right time. Any ideas of what kinda time line im looking at here? Can it go from its current state to done in a week or 2? Sorry if i ask so much. I fill I have done a pretty job for a first grow and dont want my effort to get ruined in the end. Thanks

shoulda kept track of ur flowering schedule!..... heres the ONLY ways to determine when its ready now..... wait til 80% of you pistils r brown or until u have a 50/50 ratio of amber to milky trichomes...all information u find will say this...anything different beware!:hump:

My harvest guide lines based on indoor growing and have zero indication what the strain will do outdoors its a completely different set of conditions.

Tyler I have a picture gallery with dates i can refer back to, but for me im not really sure when to actually start counting the days. Do i count when i see the first white pistils emerge or is that preflower or just right after stretch it's kinda but not. See what i mean. When does one really start to count the days.

Sub thanks for the response had no idea that was indoor times. I think i'll just have to check it every other day or few with the scope. I'm figuring 2 weeks at least probably more.

the previously stated guidelines will work for indoor/outdoor..... but nothing is better than keeping track of ur flower schedule lol

flowering begins the first day of 12/12.... thats day 1 and u continue counting accordingly..... i agree prob anywhere frm 12-18 more days.. give or take..... try to time ur flush to parallel the time ur plant is finished for best results ( see why u gotta keep track )

Yeah norcal outdoors plants not only perform different but the start date is slightly different across the US

I think you guys start around august 20th but indoors your going directly to 12/12 and outdoors it kinda winds down and each strain has a different trigger.

Well Something good happened. In the last 3 days or so this thing Swelled like crazy maybe double in girth and crystal profusion. Its like it took the last few weeks of growth and did that in a few days . Looking throuhg the scope shows almost all milky heads with probably 5% still clr and 5% amberish. The thing with amber heads is they are basically clr but just red in color not like a milky amber but a clr amber does that make sense?

yes. but remember the outside is maturing faster than the inside under the intense sun, a possible cause for what you are seeing. as a control, im considering shading one plant the last week or two to keep the outside from ripening too fast.
