Question about Clones from a Flowering Mother

Hi I have 2 questions for you guys. I am planning on taking 2 cuttings from my female plant that is a good 4 weeks into flowering. I am planning on putting these clones into a stealth grow box that is (LxWxH) 20inx15inx20in. And then either doing a SCROG or LST grow

My questions are: What would be the proper thing to do? Should I continue to grow these clones in 18/6 for 2 or 3 weeks after they have been rooted, since they are already in flowering, and then 12/12 them? or should I 12/12 them as soon as the roots are grown?

My last question would be what would give me a greater yield in the space I provided above: SCROG or LST?

Hey buddy, if I am correct and i could be wrong but I dont think taking the cuts now would NOT be a good idea seeing your weeks into the flowering cycle. I think and once again i could be wrong but clones need to go under 18/6 schedule. If it works for you it might set it back some but there is no experience like trial and error which we can learn from. I think both styles are a good way to go but I would choose the lst method but scrog might give you what your searching for. Best of Luck to you and your girls

You're going to have to put em under 24/0 for about a month to revert them back to the veg stage. They're going to get funky looking, but with time they'll get back to normal though.

You can't just clone off a plant 4 weeks into flower and do the normal stuff, cause now you're not working with the norm here, savy?

This is correct. You CAN clone from a flowering plant, but it takes a LOT longer. Put them under 24/0 and leave'em it'll take about 4 weeks for them to revert and start growing.

you have no issues. you will see roots in 1 to 2 weeks. depending on the strain if it is a big producer i would let the clones root and then go to flower. if the strain isn't a big yielder let the clones root and let it veg a little. happy growin

thanks guys, Ive done clones before but never from a flowering plant, this site and all you guys help out a tremendous amount. I've read the flowering clones thread and everything... but after they root and say I put them in Veg, doing scrog or LST do you think my grow space with the dimensions listed above would be suitable If I grew the clones out to say 8 inches?

I transfer mine into flowering at 10 to 12 inches, but I've never ACROG'ed or any fancy shit. My finished plants are about 4 feet.
