Question About Drying Trim And Making Oil

So I want to make some oil when i harvest. I am going to manicure the plant while it is still wet then hang it to dry in a dark room. My question is this. I read that plant matter must be dry for BHO extraction. Is this correct? And if it is how do you dry the small leaf scraps since you obviously cant hang them. The small underdeveloped buds from the bottom i am gonna use for my oil as well. Is it ok to just dry them as is, with the leaves still on? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use a big paper bag. all the trim and little buds go in the bag at harvest. they will dry in the bag. you don't need to cure that stuff. It just has to be dry. Myself I try to keep stems out of the bag. there a pain to prep for the extractor.

Paper bag works for me too.
Just make sure you check on it periodically and roll the leaves to release the water vapor and heat.

lol sorry forgot to say that. I don't have much problem till the bag starts getting full.
