I'd stick it outside. You could go the 24 hr route, but then your plant would have to re-adjust when you move it out. Odds are outside, it'll just continue to flower, now that the vernal equinox has passed. This could be a good thing. Where you are in the world might come into play.

You can put it outside but it'll look a little funky for 2-3 weeks while it learns to revert to veg.

24 hours of light is only required for clones. put it out. 18/6 is best, they need rest to

could take up to 1 to 1 1/2 months be patient. A little nitrogen only solution will help stretch it out a bit before it get back into the veg stage if you dont it will be a cluster leaves with only a certain amount of light that gets to the leaves. saves you a week or so w/ the reversal.

if the light schedule is changed from what it had before going out it night hermie. why not take a top and revert that to veg and just finish flowering the base of it

Yes...it will confuse the plant for a little while. You may see some strange leaf formations but it WILL come around and revert back to veg. Last time I did it it took about 2-3 weeks for it to show signs of veg growth and during that time it looked like shit.

To return to veg under artificial light 3-4 weeks, in my experiences. Some spastic growth may/will continue beyond that, but should eventually return to completely normal growth.
