Question about HPS vs. MH for Veg

I just got my clones for this years outdoor garden. I am using a 600w HPS with a reflector built in the bulb. My hood isn't a reflector it's just a dew guard. I have a 600w MH bulb, but it doesn't have the built in reflector. My question is.... Would I be better off with the reflectorless MH bulb or just use the HPS for veg

I found out it's called a "chrome dome" bulb

I think most would say the MH for veg, but maybe try to pick up a reflector hood

Yeah the mh will prolly be the best option for veg. Since the veg can get away with less light. I do like the reflected hps. Great idea but when I worked at the grow shop they were hard to come by. I actually thought they were discontinued.
