i have an outdoor plant that is pretty close to harvest id say bout 2-3 weeks...i want to take a clone of but i dont no where to cut
question about outdoor clones???

can i use a fan leaf or no?, cuz the plant i have is like 1 foot or a little more and it doesnt have any branche branching off of it... also i do have some CLONEX Rooting Compound should i just dip the stem right in the little bottle?

whaaaaaat, nah man ya cant use the fan leaves, they have nowhere to shoot off... you may get a leaf with roots that just wont die tho lol.
nah what ya gotta do is take one of the lower branches that hasnt gone to flower yet (were still getting shorter days so taking one thats started to flower just wont work atm. do you have a light???? then ya could take the cutting from a part thats just started flower and revert it back to veg with more light( note continuousy doing this generation after generation will cause slow loss of potency in the strain through stressand what nots) thats y its best to have the one mother veging constantly or taking the cuttings only during veg (it helps a lot)
ummm seriously dude ya should search around theres pics and diagrams all over the show and if ya dont know squat i advise searching

and yes just dip it in as if thegel were a powder and put one slit down (the bottom) of your cutting before dipping this will help encourage rooting,
sorry im not trying to be an ass but seriously it helps if someone does a search for themselves so they can at least try to grasp the concept.... i dont mind helping people out when they need it but ya do get a bit sick of people who wont try to help themselves. there aare plenty of things out there telling you how to clone. watch or read them and youll understand this.
45 degree cut, slit, dip, and plant, its as easy as that. and like i said use the gel as if it were powder ya just dip into both of them

i new a fan leaf wouldnt work lol i feel like n idiot thats jus wat i herd i was jus conferming... ya i no about the 45 angle n strippin a little skin at the bottom and wat not... thanks for your advice i will take pics wen i do the first one.
