question about outdoor temps

im in maine and currently daytime temps are perfect but nighttime temps range from 40 degrees to 60 degrees farenheit, i was searching for minimum low temps it can stand and it said 55 degrees farenheit, is this true or will it be able to withstand a few nights in the 40's? would really like to know my plants are about 1 month old and starting to get rootbound in their cups and im anxious to get them in the ground and watch them explode. thanks.

I'm in California, but I start my plants in January when night time temps get down into the teens or twenties, at times.

Cannabis can tolerate anything above freezing, without damage, but the low temps do slow growth, temporarily.

If you guard against freezing, your girls will be fine.
