Question about plant currently in flower..

I have a Himalayan Blue Diesel from Short Stuff thats about 75 days old from seed now...The plant is still looking healthy, and she has autoflowered on the 20/4 light schedule, but shes taking forever!. She was in a tent with a PE auto that was a few days older, and i chopped at day 77. Showing trichs on the leaves and everything, but pistol production is EXTREMELY slow. I dont know what to do....change up the light schedule? nutes?

Plant is grown in coco using canna line of nutes, under Hans LED.

Figured id ask all yall for some advice.

Not sure about that strain, but I know my PE auto I ran next to my NL auto finished a few weeks earlier. I did my final harvest on my NL auto at just under 100 days. I pulled about 3/4 of an oz (dry) about 3 weeks early due to a broken branch. Really wish I had let the whole thing go longer.

I did a grow of Short Stuff Onyx with the same results. Nothing but wispy buds. The thing that turned it around was switching to 12/12. I think I started that at week 10. I had these huge trees covered in wispy buds. I didnt want to give it up. The turn around was almost immediate. Soon after switching to 12/12 the buds began booming. It took some weeks, but the wisps turned into donkey dicks.

I think I started 12/12 on week 11. Hard to remember now. Ended up being something like a 17 week grow. But I averaged about 3 1/3 ounces per plant. Indoors. Thats right, 3 1/3 ounces. These Onyx seeds, that I took out of the Short Stuff packaging myself, would have grown 6 ft tall or more if I hadnt started hacking them. I also severely trained the plants. Never seen anything grow so damn fast.

You flipped an auto to 12/12?

I flipped mine the other day right after you helped me decide. Havent noticed much change since then. Vertical growth has been extremely slow if not stopped for a week now..I feel you though, i dont want to give up on 'er after i spent 11 weeks of time and nutes. Im praying she will turn around, because right now my few skinny white pistols are pathetic

i have a holy grail kush i want to start, im getting impatient

quick update - the plant looks like the flowering is commencing quicker :))) now that shes on 12/12 - will post pics soon:bigjoint:

Switching an auto's light schedule "should" make no difference, since an auto will bloom when she is mature and that is the point of auto's they do not need a strict lighting schedule just as long as it always has at least 18 to 24 hours of light a day she will be fine. Of course there is no harm in experimenting and I am not saying it will not help by switching to less but not as much as 12/12 try lights on for 18 then off for 6. Either way, it's an auto man it should make no difference just make sure it gets plenty light man and go easy on the nutes most autos are very sensitive.

I know it shouldnt make a difference. The reason i switched to 12/12 was because my 80 day old AF was seemingly stalled.. And tbh ive seen more pistil production in the last 3 days since switching the lights then i have in the 2 months its been flowering.. Now its very possible i couldve jumped the gun and the plant just needed time rather than the light switch... But its also difficult to argue w results.

I dont want to keep messing with the lights. Should i go back to 20/4 and see wat gives? Or keep er goin 12/12. Ill post a pic tn for comparison to the one i posted the other day

Yeahh buddy :) my patience has been lacking. This has been my first auto grow. Had a barneys PE sharing the tent w the lady now. Pulled 25g of dank off er plus 13g of trim/flarf im gonna make bho w. This plant looks much better. Way tighter nodes. I guess i cant complain about the time shes takin till i know the outcome

WOW, looking nice man. Another 5 weeks and that stuff will blow yi away.

What's your guess for the quantity of dry stuff you'll pull of her?

Thanks man! Im hoping for 1oz+. Pulled 25g off a skinny stretchy pineapple that she shared the tent with. This plant has way tighter nodes, and more bud sites. Plus the double cola :)

I didnt top her. She just grew like that naturally :) im gonna grow a single think different next run that i might top. Ive seen a bunch of ppl talk about it. Seems like theres a short window of time to top an auto. Im sure someone can chime in who knows the facts
