I have three girls that are about three weeks into flowering now my question is this what does it mean when the hairs start shrinking back down and changing colors (darkening)?

I am very serious about this though I am all kinds of confused about this. I just don't want to be blind sided by ready to harvest buds when I haven't even started preparing for it.

So should I be getting ready for harvest? They are Soooo small it would be a real shame but like I said before if I am blindsided by this it will be a real problem as I have to get my harvest are set up and smell proof.

it is odd that their changing color a 3 weeks.. it'd help if u had a pic. check the lowest and highest temperature in ur room and se if the difference is more than 20 degrees, only other thing I can think of is lights being too close, or just lack of air flow contributing to extreme heat maybe? wats ur airflow situation like

The only thing I'm concerned about with getting ready for harvest is the smell as I will be vegging again immediately I need to figure how I'm gonna do ventalation with blowing my stack again on venting. My lights are about four inches off the plants. My temp has been a steady 68-72. And the exhaust is always on so there is constant air flow. I mean the buds are so small. The biggest top bud I have is smaller in length than a pop can. The others are about a piece of popped popcorn in size just tiny.

Fend, looks good-I did notice red in stem not sure how normal that is? I've seen it in my own, I just thought it was bad :) Bud size well, I am sure there are a few areas either in the grow room itself or techniques that you want to improve upon thus improving plant/bud size- not trying to knock or debate, I just know I always have improving to do. I had one gurl that seemed like she would never stop budding like one bud would grow off another like they all had bad wort's :) Depending on amounts you are trying to dry just like growing it lots o options -be creative yet keep it simple. I am trying to incorporate a drying space into my flower box just for that reason :) I Love the smell :) But smell is a tell. Keep an eye on her, please her and she will please u ;)
Happy Growing to all

Thanks give me the red stems have been a problem as soon as I started flowering. I made a shit ton of mistakes on this grow it is my first and when I started I kinda figured they would all die lol. But now they are advancing and I realize how stuck I was in trying to make the grow room work I am kinda reinvent to pick it up as I go now. This has been a severe learning curve and not to worry I am man enough to admit I really have done a lot wrong on this grow. Next one should be a lot smoother. What did you do about those pesky red stems?

Ground and smoked um! LMAO J/K I too am just starting out really trying to grow for myself so I am still mastering the what not to do's. :) I believe the red stem was caused by a deficiency, which was caused by over watering/feeding, which caused lockout. I have to confess that due to the fact I did not heed the advise of my elders here and instead of saving up my dollars and doing it "right" the first time, I will show them. Well, I am a Dumbass... I admit my rig was/is ghetto but at least I could smoke what I grew and truly learned a lot. I have made some changes/improvements to grow spaces and with time will tweak them as well. I am still learning what growing methods works best for me as well as my environment. Although I am mentally challenged to a degree (Proud Short bus rider here) I still try to pick out common denominators of what seems to work for folks and try to emulate them to the best of my ability. I also plan on doing a better journal- Keeping notes seems to be a key element. Track everything. Ok got go thanks n hey sent F/R l8r all
