question about sealed rooms

i have been contemplating building a sealed room with c02 and DWC hydro.

And i want to use a waterfall effect to add oxygen back to the res, but if im constantly keeping co2 levels at 1500 ppm will there be enough oxygen in the sealed room to oxygenate the water?

if I use air pumps i will have to pull air from outside and that will not constitute a sealed room and would drop co2 levels and could possibly add pathogens to the nutrient solution.

If i build the sealed room im not cutting any corners i want to do it right.

You will be fine...

Oxygen in the atmosphere is between 19.5 and 23.5% per volume. Assume 20% and you are talking about 200,000 PPM.

The only time I had my oxygen drop below 19.5% in my sealed grow room was when I accidentally had the generator turn on full blast for a long period of time. (the PPM's in the room were over 6000). I bought an oxygen monitor to ensure my own safety.

And eventually the plants will be big enough to return fresh oxygen to the room.

This is another one of those questions in the cannabis world with no straight answer, but I can tell you the most popular solution to people who do think it's a problem, and that is to have your resevoirs and air pumps in a seperate room. If you're waterfalling in a single DWC tub, then this wouldnt apply, but consider designing a RDWC (way better imo), and having that res and the pumps in a seperate room with your ballasts, etc. Building a control room is highly preferred in a sealed grow room. Don't worry about pumping outside air from airpumps, I don't think any mold/mildew/spider mites are going to get to your plants after being driven through the micro-pores in your airstones and right into your DWC tubs...
