Question about Subcool's super soil recipe

I really want to try out Subcool's super soil method but I live in Canada and its pretty much impossible to find Azomite and powdered humic acid. (If anyone can prove me wrong here it would be much appreciated) I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if Ill run into any problems if I just omit the azomite and humic acid or should I just try a different recipe that I have all the ingredients for like VIC's super soil? My main issue with VIC's recipe is that it doesnt have the greensand, rock phosphate, or the guano and they all have such great properties. I was thinking of trying a hybrid of the two, I'd be open to suggestions.

Heres Subcools recipe with what I have available:
2 bails sunshine mix #4
25 to 50 lbs of organic worm castings
5 lbs steamed bone meal
5 lbs Bloom bat guano
5 lbs blood meal
3 lbs rock phosphate
¾ cup Epson salts
½ cup sweet lime (dolomite) <-- why is the lime so damn low? should I increase it to vic's 3-4 cups / bail since he was using sunshine like me and subcool wasnt?

Heres Vic's with what I have:
1 Bale sunshine mix #2 or promix (3.8 cu ft)
8 cups Bone Meal - phosphorus source
4 cups Blood Meal - nitrogen source
1 1/3 cups Epsom salts - magnesium source
3-4 cups dolomite lime -calcium source & pH buffering
4 cups kelp meal.
9kg (25 lbs) bag pure worm castings

Im gonna try both I think, but Id also like to try a hybrid for the best results. Any suggestions here? I cant make up my mind and I want a kller soil but my resources are limited to pretty much: http://www.bustan.ca/main.asp?menuID=5 and http://www.welcomeharvestfarm.com/product_l.html#supergrow
(that site is fucking awesome. Guy makes all the shit himself out of B.C. apparently)

Thanks for all your suggestions guys.

that seems like a pretty gnarly ass recipe, not sure why the sunshine mix is necessary when you could just make all that stuff yourself, Personally i added blood meal, bone meal, tomato food, worm castings, dolomite lime, vermiculite, perlite, potting soil, and plenty of organic compost from my backyard. The dry fertilizers are really handy because they provide a long lasting source and the compost is great for microrganisms. You also can be safe the plants still have some nutrients when you flush your plants

I've also wondered about the low lime in subs mix. My mix is very similar to Vics and I also go with 1 cup of lime/cf.

The kelp will do you for trace, I can't find azomite here either. Also, granite dust, rock dust, greensand for trace if you can find them.

Mix sounds good, it's not rocket science. As sub says, "It's just fucking dirt".

Will you use any nutrient solution for watering as well during flowering with a soil mix like that?
Should be just water only.

However, "I" keep some Earth Juice handy just in case of any deficiencies. I don't make my mix as 'hot' as sub does. Really haven't needed it. Just water with molasses and some ACCT tea every now and then.

SUbcool probably puts less dolomite lime because its in all his base soils already. Vic's method probably uses soil that is not as rich as some other soils.

If the base soil has peat moss like Fappy Frog or Ocean Forest, it wouldn't hurt to double the lime because peat will swing towards acidity as it breaks down. My early problems with Subcool SS recipe virtually disappeared since doing that.

Would steamed bone meal do the same as dolomite lime for the ph dive?
