My Fans are hooked up to the same extension cord my lights are hooked up too, if i get a timer - will having the fans off during 1 of the 12 hour periods (during flowering) fuck anything up?? or do i need to resolve this problem some how, im limited to the amount of cords due to my "stealth set up" please help!

There is a period after the light goes out where it's still really hot in there, so if the fans go out, too, it could be a problem. PLUS, the plants need some air circulation esp during flowering to prevent mold.

SO...buy a power strip and plug it into your extension cord. Then put the timer in one of the plug receivers on the power strip and the light plug goes into the timer. The fan plugs go into the other receivers. That way the timer will turn the light on and off, but the fans will keep running.

That's part of my set up, and it works well. Good luck!

where are you that you cant find a 3 prong extention cord. sounds like all you have is table lamp extention cords. you know the ones the everyone plugs 20 strings of xmas lights on. hardware store or homedepot or wallmart all have ext. cords,

Yes, there are plenty of three-prong cords out there! They're used in construction all the time. A good hardware store will have them.
