Question about water

your gonna want to test the PH at least, just grab one of those $5 ones from any hydro store

get a ph test make sure it like 6.0 for sure mate nuttin higer i been using higher p.h and it been doin the job for me no problems

why cant you get fresh water from a tap or sink?....

The ph came in about 7.4. I'm using tank water as it is high in nitrates, and the plants don't seem to be affected in a bad way.
