i had this bright idea on using a seed raft to germ these mp5k seeds. they just don't seem to be taking off at all. I waited till they cracked using paper towel / baggie then placed the tap root in holes poked through a styrofoam sheet , like the ones used in meat packing. they went in the towels on the 28'th and have been in the bubbler for about 5 days i guess. the cots opened and they are not even the diameter of a dime. the roots are about an inch to an inch and a half long.
I dunno i am not sure what to expect as i have never tried sprouting like this before. anything i can do to kick start these? I have been keeping the ph at 5.8 - 6. a few drops of super thrive and a few caps of h202. who knows maybe they are right on schedule? please let me know if i am in th ballpark on this or if i should just go buy some peet pucks or rapid rooters.
