Question - Lights

So I have two DP Blueberry's on day 32 of flower. I have only been using 150w HPS during flower. Today, I picked up 3 -150w equivalent (2600k) CFL's from Home Depot for a boost. If I understand everything correctly, that is an additional 450w for a total of 600w. I know the spectrum is different with HPS.

The flower growth on the two girls is kinda slow and appears to be spindly compared to what I have been seeing on the RIU journals.

Will this additional 450w increase my yield? If so, significantly? Hopefully, this small upgrade will be worth the money.

Tell me what you think. I can upload photos tomorrow. Any advice is appreciated.

yeah unfortunatly he's right, they will probably help a bit but not too too much... for the next grow sell these and buy a 400-600 hps, and just an fyi just because the light is equillivent to 150watts doesnt mean its really 150 watts, its still only 30-40 watts of real light,

Well said everyone who replied. Also, when comparing your buds to those in journals, make sure you compare what lights are used as well. Even that 150w is pretty weak compared to a 400 or 1K.

CFLs don't put off much but when considering you only have 150 watts you will be adding about 120 more watts with 3 40 watt cfls. Quite a boost for plants used to a lot less light.

Thank you guys for your posts. So if I were to get 3 or 4 more CFL's would that help? Keep on mind I am half way through flower.
