Question on clones

I know cloning is the easiest thing in the world but i suck at it, so bare with me. I took a clone a week ago she was nice and green, now she is yellow and the leafs are curling. The steam is still standing up right, not sure if this is normal or not.

your right my fault, I soaked her in a cup of water for 2 days recut the tip, scraped some bark of the steam, dipped it rooting hormone(powder) and into the rockwool she went. It is in a humidity dome under 6 20w floros, she was green up until a day or 2 ago.

The lower leaves will dye away as the clone uses that energy to start to make roots. If your plant is still standing upright and only the lower leaves are effected then your fine and the plant is doing what you are wanting, forming roots. It will take about a week to 2.5 weeks before you will see root buds form and then the roots will grow out of them..... Good luck

When I first started this a few years ago my hydro guy said to soak the rockwool in 5.5 ph overnight. The next day he said to take the cube lightly between my fingers and carefully whip it from above my head toward the floor. I did it twice and the excess water gets flung out of it. You want it moist but not wet. You can stick it in a different cube as long as the roots haven't started forming. Sounds like your catching on..... Good luck

6 20w fluoros might be a bit much. For clones you only want enough light to keep them alive...too much overwhelms them until they get roots. You'd probably be ok with 1 20w fluoro.

Keep humidity high...use a dome or mist regularly.

So i'll kill a couple of lights this morning, they are in a humidity dome I take the top off a couple of times a day so they can breath. I appreciate all the help, truly i do and i'll keep you posted with what happens

After a few failed attemps I got 2 clones to root using a DIY aero cloner I made. Here they are 2 weeks into veg.

Thanks for all your help.

Seems easier and quicker to clone with, I had root stubs in 7 days, and on the 9th day (just after they woke up) I put them in dirt and they took off.

Got another Wonder Woman to take, put her into flowering right away. Trying my hand at the DWC method with a single cola type grow. She went in last Friday & in 4 days has dbl'ed in size.
