Question on "General Hydroponics" nutrients

I thought i could get away with using just the Flora bloom and Gro but when i read the application table on the bottles and then on their site the Micro is included in the mix.

Can i get away with using just the Gro and Bloom? And if so what are the best amounts to use?

Sometimes its best to follow the directions to prevent error

You really should get the micro nutrients, your plant need them since it won't be getting them from the other 2 ferts nor any soil

You need the Micro for sure. I've heard of several grows using only Micro and Bloom. http://forum.grasscity.com/advanced-growing-techniques/147537-lucas-method-no-grow-formula.html you may find that interesting.

Yea im going to wait and buy the micro and not risk it.

Glad you asked this. I have just stunbled upon the guru of GH nutes and a thread that has the most hydroponic and to my surprise soil I have ever seen. This thread is legendary. I have not seen the grass city yet but here is another one. Lucas is the dude and he is pretty into it. This thread is still alive, I would read it all first.

The lucas formula is based on using the micro and the bloom. Later he found that staring with flora nova grow and adding flora nova bloom in the addback water till flower. But that is just another idea. Plenty only use the micro and bloom

The micro has enough N in it to vegetate when mixed with the bloom. There are two micros tho. A ro water one and a hardwater one. The hardwater is lower in minerals and you should use if you have high ppm and solids in your water. YOu can find that online. It is also acidic to compensate for tapwaters basic ph. SO you decide that.

GH is cool and I would just get a micro. I used it and am thinking of going back. GH has ll the nutrients one needs in those bottles. People also use the whole three part, adding some grow some clain is ph bene. But to save money bloom and micro. Read on, fun shit.
