question regarding germination

how long can a germinated seed remain alive if unplanted?? i started germinated my seeds yesterday and found out that i might have to leave tomorrow for a week... some already sprouted, so i need to know if i can leave them germinated for like a week without them dying.

What are they germinating in?

About a week or so as long as they don't dry out. Why not just plant them in soil or peat pellets under a humidity dome and they should still be moist when you get back if you soak them well.
