So this guy was trying to argue with me tonight that regular weed does not have less trichs. He says that all weed has a large amount trichs when flowering. He also says the reason regi losses its trichs is because its handled alot, same with kind bud that is mediocre. My argument is that regi less potent, which would mean less or smaller trichs. I do agree that weed can be handled very rough and will knock kief off the bud. The inside trichs have no way of being knocked off, so that would have to indicate that the bud had bad growing conditions and didn't produce as high of THC content while it was flowering.

So does all weed look the same when flowering no matter what the growing conditions are?

no some look like shit with very few trichs and others look great with trichs galore like a snowstorm hit. have you seen mexi weed almost no trichs at all. theri is thc in the bud though even if no trichs. trichs is not the only place thc and other cannabanoids are stored

I will tell you, from my own personal experience over the last 25 years of smoking, YOU ARE WRONG. Man, do some fucking research. ALL PLANTS HAVE TRICHS WHEN FLOWERING, NO MATTER WHAT STRAIN. I've seen plants with very little trichs that ended up being dank. Trichs help, but HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GRADE OF THE GENETICS. And the guy that answered you didn't look any smarter than you. Holy shit, don't ever give anyone advice if you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Yea I know this thread is old, but holy shit, I hate ignorance.

You are both right. Some strains don't have as many trichs as others, often weed has fewer trichs from being handled too much.
