How hot is too hot i been tring to keep temps down but with 2 fans (about 4" blades) it still satys at just above 83f is that too hot?

yes it is unless your using co2.A sativa heavy plant might be ok but for optimol growth 78 is the best 80 is about as high as you truely want it 83 or higher will start to stunt or stop growth

From what I've read, anything below 85 should be fine.

My apologies, I measure temps in Celsius (C) and my conversion was miss judged.
