Questions about a pc grow

I'm going to be getting one off pcgrowbox and innate some questions.
I'm not going to do hydroponics since it's going to be my first grow I want to do something simple.
If I grow in a pc box how much weed would I have if I only have 2 plants growing at once?
I've been hearing about different times to have the light on during the veg state. What's the best light schedule to have in veg and flowering state?
This is just a learning experience for me. One day I would want to do something bigger but right now I don't have the space to do that.
Last question is it worth it to do a pc grow?
Honest answers please I'm still learning and would like any comments, criticism or suggestions.

I would not expect to much yield from a PC grow. Probably an ounce or two just because plants have to be kept relatively small in a small area. The whole idea of the PC grow being worth it is stealthiness, If you live on your own you could probably upgrade. I suggest a 18/6 light cycle for veg and 12/12 for flowering. In my opinion, if this is your first grow, maybe you should try something slightly larger then the PC box, Have you seen any of the dresser grow boxes? They look pretty intense, look like a completely ordinary dresser, but the inside is hollowed out for a grow room. The only reason I say go bigger, is the more plants you start, the better chance of success you will have, especially if your growing from regular seed, there's a 50 percent chance that the seedling will be male and will not produce bud. Yea, look into some of those stealth dresser grows, I bet that will interest you. :blsmoke:

Good idea, exactly what you want to do.

Up to two ounces if you know your stuff, around an ounce on your first grow depending on how much you know prior to your grow. I would recommend trying 1 plant for your first grow so it gives you more experimenting space, which you could still yield the same amount as 2 plants (which obviously would be smaller). Try feminized for this unless you are prepared to put up with a possible male seed.

I've been hearing about different times to have the light on during the veg state. What's the best light schedule to have in veg and flowering state?
18 on and 6 off for veg. 12/12 for veg cycle, most people use this, works great, nuff said.

It's definitely worth doing a PC grow, as long as you are willing to invest the initial funds for the grow box, all you need for your next grow will cost far less than your first grow (you may even have some supplies [nutes ect.] left over from your last grows). In my personal opinion, I would say do 12/12 from seed (exactly what it says on the tin) for your first grow. You can yield some nice buds from this, very easy to do for a beginner and you can get a feel of how seeds will react in your grow box. Personally I would not recommend that site, mrgrowpro is where I ordered my new one from (not arrived yet) but somebody else on this forum (you can search for it) got one from there and recommended it, mrgrowpro is larger, more detailed, cheaper and you get better equipment with it. If you want it cheaper you can build your own, I went with this one as it's got a nice finish, very large (big yield) plus comes with some good lights and very adjustable lights and screen. That's just my opinion anyway, if you want some extra stealth some tips are:
-Use a carbon filter on the outtake fan plus a Ona block/Ona gel outside just by this, this will remove odor.
-The poly in mrgrowpro is black on the other side so whilst being reflective it helps with light leaks.
-Seal any light leaks with black electrical tape and if you need to spray black on parts that look odd.
-Use light traps if that is the only way you can get stealth from your fans.
-Have an optional lock on your grow box door. Absoloutely love the idea of PC grows an stealth grows myself, one idea I have never played with but want to in the future: Have a laptop stealth hidden somewhere around a PC monitor which is plugged into the laptop, but appears to be plugged into your PC grow box.

Thanks you guys. I checked out mr grow pro and it's way cheaper than the other site but the shipping is so expensive but I'm going to go through with it.

Ever consider building your own? Before I started my grow I was thinking of buying a prebuilt one online but they are so expensive. Instead I built my own cabinet. You can check it out inmy signature if you'd like. The whole thing cost me around 100$. Anyway good luck, happy growing! :bigjoint:

first off id say make your own box! its way more fun and you can really learn a thing or two. if you build a good micro set up, when you choose to upgrade youll know what you need to do on a bigger scale. its a great learning experience. i started off with a rubbermaid grow back in 12th grade got a few good grows then the parents discovered my operation. that small box taught me pretty much the basics of constructing a grow room / box.

now to answer your questions. id say around an ounce for your first grow, only use one plant until you get the hang of it. experiment with screens, lst, topping. youll get a nice yield maybe even 2ozs. you have two options for light schedules. actually three but you could do 18/6 or 24/0 i wouldn't recommend the non stop light for veg but it does give faster growth. or you could do what im about to do and thats 12/12 from seed your working with a small space so naturally your plants are going to grow and grow and grow well sometimes it can be hard to judge just how big there going to get once flowering is started. your plants still grow during this phase. 12/12 from seed is great for smaller boxs and can easily still give you around an oz or two.

id say honestly its not worth it to buy a pre made pc grow box make your own then after everythings done and youve had your first harvest, youll be tokin on that nice bud YOU grew out the box YOU made.. just something special when you put in hard work and labor, sweat, and blood..., but try not to get to hurt lol

have fun bro :bigjoint:

Also should I use feminized or masculine I never understoopd the difference between the two. Also during the light schedule 18/6 how many times a day should I water and put nutrients in the plant?

yea, I suggest building your own grow box. Ive seen homemade pc grow boxes that look identical to what you would have bought online. A few boards and plywood and you could make yourself an awesome grow cabinet up to your specifications. It would literally save you hundreds of dollars, and gives you the learning experience of constructing a grow room.

feminized all the way bro! to small of a space to waist time with males.

you only want to feed nutes about 1-2 times a week. i guess it more depends on what brand you use but not everyday for sure. id say water every other day and decide if you want to do biweekly feedings or weekly feedings

Hey there, Riv. Go ahead and give this thread here a good long read. I've read it dozens of times myself, and often use it as a reference! It will tell you all you need to know about the general growing of Marijuana. As for PC Growing, I've noticed that the main concern is temperature and light leaks. Don't buy a PC Grow Box off the internet, you can simply run down to your local Pawn Shop or scrap yard and pick up an old computer case for a few bucks. Then you just strip it out and get set up! Below is a quick checklist of setting up a PC Grow.

1. Acquire PC, via friend, old one you've got laying around, etc.

2. Strip out the PC, removing motherboard, and all internal racks and other tomfoolery. >>>KEEP THE FANS<<<

3. Set your fans up in the case. I use three (3) fans, but some use more/less, it depends on how strong they are. Hook them up to a 12V AC/DC adapter and you're good to go. Make sure you have an exhaust!

4. Get your Mylar, Poly, or other reflective material and LINE THE CASE, yes the entire case, even the bottom (so the light bounces up under the leaves). Ensure you cut to fit, leaving holes for the fans!

5. Your wires for your fans and such should all be nice and tucked away beneath your reflective material.

6. If you're going super-stealth with your build, you'll want to keep all light leaks under control, yet still maintain reasonable temperature. Use something like this to put under your fan mounts. Carbon filters block the smell of weed from going out, AND the light from going out. Two birds, one stone.

7. Get your grow medium and stuff in order, have your pots and a little tray under them to catch the water once you water them (the name of it escape me at the moment... but it has one damn'nit!) and ensure that your temperatures are good (70-86°F) before you plant your precious babies.

8. Acquire seeds and plant those little bastards using your information from the thread linked in the beginning of this post! I like to use this supplier as they are discreet, have flat rate shipping, phenomenal reviews, and plenty of strains.

9. Use your skills and knowledge from the thread I linked to grow your weed until you see fit. I would however look further into ScrOG'ing, as it is the best way to maximize your output from a PC Grow and is fairly simple to do.

10. Enjoy your weed (if you smoke, that is. I don't, I just grow :3)
