Questions about DWC CFL grow

okay so pretty soon im gunna start my second grow. im going to buy lowryder 2 seeds and grow them one at a time bc my grow space is small.
i want to grow my plants in a DWC with a bubbler.

my question is do you add nuts to your res every day or what? i dont really understand it all that well yet. i plan on using a 3 gallon res for the whole grow since im only growing one plant at a time.


also, i planned on using four cfls throughout the whole grow.
for veg im gunna use 4 26watt 6500k cfls and for flowering im gunna use 4 42watt 2700k cfls.

would that be enough light for one plant since lowryder is so small?


also, what nutrients would be best for my small grow and how much nuts should i give the plants and when?

no worrys dude ur on the right path.... i would use 4 - 5 gallon buckets right to flower man .... and u add nutes every friday and try to keep the waer an inch below the net pot all week just adding water ok buddy ur plant wants different things at different times ... adding nutes everyday will cause a buildup of certain parts and cause nute burn and fuck ur harvest ok buddy so just adjust ppm to what u want each friday, and just add water once every day or 2

buy these at any hydro store and there easy to use if ur doing dwc u need a tds meter to measure ur ppm


start ur ppm low with clones at about 40, and every week go up 100- 200 ppm till flower then go back to 700, and add slowly

oka so do i change the water every time i add nuts?

and what is ppm?

sounds like you got a good plan as far as lighting and resivior. about adding nutes, i find it best to pre mix gallons of water and nutes, i also ph it right after i mix the nutes in. that way you dont have to worry about the already mixed nutrients in the water.

i use general hydroponics flora line of nutrients (floragro, florabloom, floramicro) and also the general hydroponic ph up/down.

if you go with the general hydroponics line of nutes i have a chart that tells you just how much to add of what to however much water, so whatever you decide, just pm me if you need it.

indeed , same with dnf .... there are charts on google and such... ok res change you dump out ur old nutes wash bucket put strait water for 24 hr, pour it out, wash bucket, add new nute/water solution up to 1 inch below net pot and put plant back in lol every day or so jsut top up with water

and nute charts are jsut slight guide lines there completly different to everyone strain ... you have to know what to look for like nute burn over watering pythium mites bugs fungus to identifie the problems and adjust to them ..... with nutes you stat off with clones at 40 ppm , next week go up to 100 .. next week 300 next week 400 next weeek 600 next week 800 next week 1000, then flowering no madder where ur at go to 700 ppm and stay there for a week then 800, and so on , and if u see nute burn flush with water and give half as much nutes and buildup again ok you have to learn to watch for what ur plant wants
