Questions about my LED light and the distance between it and the plants.

I have this 600W LED light that has a veg mode and bloom mode and I just germinated my seeds and put them in my soil. Do I just put on both modes and what height distance should there be? There aren't any resources on this.

Thanks in advance,
Tom
A 600W light is too much for very young plants. Most people veg under a T5/CFL or small LED such as 150W for a couple of weeks first. Once the plants are established you can then use the LED in veg mode until you flip to 12/12 and then you turn on bloom as well as veg modes.
I think you'll need to have that light 1 metre above the plants. You can always lower the light gradually once the plants are used to the density of the light. If you start off too close on veg or veg and bloom modes you'll likely fry the plants and stunt their growth.
Hope this helps.

not my language but it looks like that light may be 269 actual watts
Yeah I think you're pretty much on the money. I dug around and found these details:
Specifications:
- Replaces a 600 watt HPS/MH
- Use for all stages of plant growth
- Max Coverage at 24" Height 4x4ft
- Core Coverage at 24" Height 3x3ft
- Avg. Power Draw: 276watt
- (120pcs) High Intensity 5Watt Bridgelux/Epileds LED Chips

Yes that was why I thought it to be very weird. There's a veg mode and a bloom mode and I didn't know which to put on for seedlings and how far to put the lights at each stage because they seemed to be 600 watt but that the light would only consume 269 watt in power.
